To minimize discomfort, a numbing cream will be administered to your skin, complemented by a gentle flow of cool air. Additionally, an eye shield will be supplied to shield your eyes from the laser light during the procedure. Patients typically report manageable discomfort, and various energy levels can be adjusted to enhance your comfort. This treatment is relatively swift, typically lasting around 30 minutes.
SCITON MOXI® RESULTS AND RECOVERY
Typically, mild redness, swelling, and sensitivity may occur post-treatment, but they typically subside within a few days as the micro zones undergo healing. WHAT IS SCITON BBL® + MOXI®?
This treatment combines two of our favorite Sciton lasers to deliver impressive results with minimal downtime. Sciton BBL® uses powerful intense pulsed light to address uneven skin pigmentation, age spots, and sun damage. The Sciton MOXI® non-ablative laser employs fractioned laser energy to create micro-coagulation zones (microchannels) in the skin, initiating the body’s natural healing process.
As these micro zones heal, collagen production increases, revealing renewed skin beneath the damaged surface cells. This fresh, healthy skin significantly improves skin tone, eliminates surface blemishes, and rejuvenates aging skin.
What Is the Treatment Like?
The treatment is very comfortable. Numbing cream is generally not used, but ProNox (laughing gas) can be provided for sensitive patients. External eye shields, similar to those used in a tanning bed, are worn, and a gel is applied to the treatment area. A typical chest treatment takes less than 10 minutes. The skin may appear mildly red for about an hour. Since the skin is not broken, there is no healing time required, and makeup can be applied immediately. There may be a small amount of crusting that gradually disappears. The only restriction is to avoid sun exposure completely for several days. You can return to work, indoor exercise, dining out, or other activities immediately after the procedure.
